Write about a time when you did something out of the norm. What was it and how did others react?

Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

Prompt Response:   I would use the metaphor of a yoyo because I would get completely lost sometimes and then come back to my senses. The yoyo is thrown and goes out and then back in. Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

Prompt Response:  An adventure I would like to go on is searching for all the lost people in the Bermuda Triangle. It would be cool to discover what happened to the people that were lost at sea. Summary:  I want to adventure to the Bermuda Triangle. Reflection:  I want to help people understand how they lost their friends.

Describe something you will never fully understand.

Prompt: Something that I will never understand is why people can take their jobs so seriously sometimes. There was this one experience that I had when I went to Publix. While I was there shopping, I went to the bakery to get a Kids Club Cookie. All the times in my life that I've been to Publix, I've always gotten a cookie. But this particular time, the worker said that I had to be at most 12 years old. This made me quite annoyed because they were free cookies and it wouldn't hurt him to give one away. Summary: While I was at Publix, I tried to get a kids club cookie and was denied. Reflect: I hope that people will be chiller and not so serious about a damn cookie.

Describe a time you felt completely lost.

Prompt Response:  Many years ago, I went to White Water Park. I had a great time going on different rides and slides. At around 2 PM, my cousins and I decided to go up what was called the 'Death Drop' ride. We had waited in line for over an hour and were really thrilled to be released from hundreds of feet in the air into water. While we were waiting, there was a loud boom of thunder. My cousins went up to the top of the ride to see if they could go down the slide quickly. I was completely oblivious to where they had went so I just followed the crowd back to the middle of the park. At that point I began to panic because I had no idea where my cousins were or my parents. Although I was lost I remembered to go to a staff member and wait with them until they found my family. After about 20 minutes, my mom came running in with tears rolling down her face. I was very relieved to see my mom again. Summary:  I got lost at a water park.  Reflection:  I have to be more...
