Describe a time you felt completely lost.

Prompt Response: Many years ago, I went to White Water Park. I had a great time going on different rides and slides. At around 2 PM, my cousins and I decided to go up what was called the 'Death Drop' ride. We had waited in line for over an hour and were really thrilled to be released from hundreds of feet in the air into water. While we were waiting, there was a loud boom of thunder. My cousins went up to the top of the ride to see if they could go down the slide quickly. I was completely oblivious to where they had went so I just followed the crowd back to the middle of the park. At that point I began to panic because I had no idea where my cousins were or my parents. Although I was lost I remembered to go to a staff member and wait with them until they found my family. After about 20 minutes, my mom came running in with tears rolling down her face. I was very relieved to see my mom again.

Summary: I got lost at a water park.

Reflection: I have to be more aware of my surroundings and always pay attention to what's going on.
