Prompt: Today, we started our discussion about culture and food. What is one dish from your culture that is a must-have as a representation of your culture? Identify the dish and explain what it is and why it is significant.

Prompt Response: One dish from my culture that is a must have is fish and chips. This dish comes from my Scottish culture. I like to make this dish with my family when it is a special occasion or maybe if we are having people over that have never had this particular dish before. The dish consists of beer battered or breaded haddock served with a side of french fries and tarter sauce. I really enjoy eating this dish; it is really yummy.

Summary: Today we watched a documentary on different foods made in New Orleans and how that affected the culture there.

Reflection: I learned more about New Orleans culture through this video.
