Prompt: If you could share one dish from your culture or family traditions with someone who has never tried it, what would you choose? What would you want that person to understand about you or your culture through that dish?

Prompt Response: I would give people fish and chips. It is beer battered fish with a side of french fries. It is a dish I hold dearly to my heart and really enjoy. I would want people to know that I am proud of my heritage. Also this dish goes back many years and has deep roots in British Culture.

Summary: Today we talked about food culture and began our projects on our food culture and our dishes.

Reflection: I'm excited to present my culture's dishes to the class and teach them about it.
