 Prompt Response: I think the play, Fences, was a good read and full of great characters. I enjoyed what messages were shown through different characters and how they unfolded as the story went on. The character that stood out to me the most was Rose. She was very determined to be with Troy and wanted to succeed with him. Even though she had dreams, she put them aside to be with Troy which is quite hard to do. I think she truly loved him. The project shows how characters are and their traits. I'm doing the playlist of the characters.

Summary: Today we finished our Fences project.

Reflection: I learned more about Lyons and how his character stayed the same throughout the story.

  Prompt Response:  Quite a few times in my life, I have had to submit an assignment really close to the deadline because I totally forgot about it. Most times I would turn it in roughly 1 hour before it is due but one particular time, I turned it in just seconds before it was due. It was on a Friday night and I was out having dinner with my family, we got home pretty late after we had finished eating and I decided to call my friend to see if he wanted to play video games with me. We began to play and we were chatting about what had happened during the day. Eventually he brought up that we had to turn in some assignment that night. After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?

  Prompt Response:  One time I was in a dangerous situation that required my full attention was when I was using a chainsaw to cut some big tree logs. I had to make sure that all of my thoughts were on cutting the logs safely. Thankfully my dad guided me and explained how to use and control the equipment. Summary:  I used a chainsaw to cut logs and had to use my full attention. Reflection:  I'm thankful that I used my full attention to stay safe and do the action correctly.
