  Prompt Response:  One conversation that changed me was a conversation I had with my mom. She told me that my Grandpa had passed away. It was a reality check for me. He passed away in 2018 on July 4. That whole day I was having fun and spending time with my family. When I got home my mom was crying and she told me the news.  Summary: My mom told me that my Grandpa had died and I got a reality check. Reflection:  I'm thankful for my mom telling me this and not hiding it from me.

  Prompt Response:  When I was a child I believed there was a tooth fairy. Every time I lost a tooth from my mouth, my parents told me to put it in an envelope under my pillow. The smaller tooth that I lost the less money I got. But the larger the tooth the more money I got. When I became about 10 years old, I realized that I was misled and falsely informed. Summary: During my childhood I thought that during the nighttime if there was a tooth under your pillow, the tooth fairy would take it and replace it with money.  Reflection:  I should do my own research next time and understand what is true and untrue.

  Prompt Response:  One fear that I overcame was swimming far out in the ocean. I was scared I would float away and never be found again. In 2021, I went to the Caribbean to go look at wildlife in the ocean. I saw things such as fish, coral, and other sea creatures. It took me a few minutes to finally jump in, but with the encouragement of my family and the instructors I gave in. I figured out it was fun to be in the water and see all the cool sights. Summary: I went to an island in the Caribbean to go look at wildlife. During this trip I overcame my fear of swimming in the middle of the ocean. Reflection:  I'm glad that I overcame my fear because now I'm not as afraid to swim in the water.

 Prompt Response: As I've grown up, I have had to debate who I think is the greatest basketball player ever. In my opinion, LeBron is the best player to ever play basketball. He has the most points ever as well as 4 NBA championships. Overall LeBron is the greatest player ever. Summary: I think LeBron is the greatest basketball player ever. Reflection: I hope others agree with me because no one else is greater at basketball than him.

  Prompt : One truth I was afraid to accept was that I wasn't good at soccer. This made me really sad because I couldn't play the game that I loved. Although I couldn't play the game I love, I found a new passion, basketball. Summary : I wasn't good at soccer. I began playing basketball after I stopped playing soccer. Reflection : I learned that sometimes you aren't good at everything.

  Prompt Response:  One time when I was judged unfairly was when I was in 9th grade and we were in gym class. The team captains were choosing teams and I wasn't picked. Because they assumed I was bad, I felt unfairly judged. But the next game, I was picked up and I showed them how good I was. It was a good lesson for the people that they shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Summary: I wasn't picked up in a game of basketball. I felt unfairly judged. Reflection: You shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

  Prompt Response:  I would want to know how the food culture was developed. Also how the agriculture affected the food that the Hispanic people are. I know that many Hispanic dishes are influenced by corn. Summary: I would like to know how the food culture was developed. Reflection:  If I could spend more time on the topic I would want to learn about the music.
